Junior Orioles Strength and Conditioning Camp (Gr K-5)
Calling all future Orioles! Join us for a full day of training for all elementary aged Park athletes. Children will work with coaches and athletes from the SLP High School Strength and Conditioning program on skills applicable to ALL sports:
• Agility
• Speed
• Acceleration
• Explosion
Each of these components will be approached in a fun, interactive and educational way, designed to engage both body and mind. We will also spend time discussing additional aspects of sports, including but not limited to: nutrition, hydration and anatomy. Kids will be divided into groups by age and ability. Lunch and snacks will be provided. All participants will also go home with their very own Oriole gear in the form of a performance t-shirt!
Profits from this program will support the SLPHS Strength and Conditioning Program. Money raised will be used to purchase additional equipment and supplies that will enhance the program for current and future Orioles! Instructor: Jessica Gust
